What data we collect

EquipBrief collects RFQ brief details, checklist download emails, supplier profile data, uploaded material metadata, contact form messages, and operational analytics events.

Operational analytics

We use first-party analytics to understand page views, referral sources, UTM parameters, visible search keywords, CTA clicks, funnel events, approximate dwell time, push-notification permission state, and whether a visitor is using an authenticated admin or supplier session. We do not store full plain-text IP addresses for analytics; the system stores an IP hash and coarse IP prefix for abuse prevention and aggregate reporting.

Registered user insights

For logged-in or submitted-profile users, EquipBrief may combine account or supplier profile data with first-party site activity to create operational summaries such as lifecycle stage, likely product interest, next recommended action, and push eligibility. These insights are used for internal follow-up, RFQ matching review, and product recommendations. We do not use analytics to infer sensitive attributes.

How RFQ data is used

RFQ data is used to generate structured buying briefs, supplier questions, checklist emails, and internal match review. We will not share your RFQ brief with supplier partners unless you request supplier quotes.
